Turkic peoples

How come the Oghuz Turks (Turks, Azeris, Turkmens, Gagauzs), look so different compared to the other Turkic peoples such as Uzbeks, Kazakhs and Uyghurs? It's like hybrid Iranians on the one hand, and hybrid Chinese on the other hand.
