View Full Version : MyHeritageDNA's separation of English from other British Isles nationalities

It always seemed interesting that there is always a separation of these nationalities when they are quite close genetically. Nevertheless, I wonder what the reason is that warrants such inclinations.... :confused:

AcestryDNA does it too. AncestryDNA's 'British' category comes from a very Anglo-Saxon part of England category. Anyway, AncestryDNA has me 37% British/Anglo-Saxon and MyHeritage as 40.x % English so they pretty much agree with each other.

Ancestry has me as 15% Great Britain. My Ancestry upload to My heritage gives me 50.4% English

Their Balkan and Greek is just as meaningless
