insomma, ho compreso che non c'è un metodo esatto per classificare adeguatamente la propria 'sottorazza', visto che per alcuni sono atlantid, per altri 100% alpino e per altri ancora 100% mediterraneo :D

magari sono un mix...ma quale? boh...

perchè, la mia costituzione è gracile, ma la carnagione non è mediterranea (chiara-->mi abbronzo un pò ma mi scotto abbastanza facilmente e ho lentiggini/efelidi-->soprattutto da bambino, ero pieno) vs olivastra) (idem il colore degli occhi, non so se è tipico dei med-->blu da bambino, oggi verde-azzurro)...

lo 'scheletro' mi sembra più atlantid/med che alpino...

ah ok, dunque hanno sparato a caso in base alla posizione geografica..

perchè, da quanto ho capito, gli alpini hanno una costituzione tarchiata e robusta, mentre la mia è abbastanza gracile e più sul longilineo (177-178 cm x 66/67 kg) ...

dunque sono un mix tra med e nordici (atlantid/pontid rappresentano i mix nordico-mediterraneo, se non erro)

Chiaro, diciamo che vanno bene per avere un'idea generica delle tipologie principali (nel mio caso mix tra med e nordici, poi magari ce me saranno anche molti altri in misura minore, ma non e' possibile effettuare analisi precise, ovviamente)

It could be, considering the fact that there shouldn't be big differences between Piedmont and the near regions of France (or at least i think so; and my grandfather's family (mother side) was also from Piedmont, but i don't know their exact history and the provenance of all the members; from my father's side they are/were mostly from lombardy (grandfather) and veneto/friuli area (grandmother))

I don't know how one could propose to differentiate, on average, northern Italians from southern French, especially the regions closest to the Alps. I know there is a minor genetic difference but I don't see it phenotypically.

I'm from Piedmont and there are actually quite some differences, albeit not as marked as with Northern France.
We look mostly like other North Italians, no doubt. To give you an idea:

I think that there are some minor differences, especially in the borders (e.g. in Friuli V.G. there's some slavic/austrian admixture, and so on)...

Perhaps in some pockets along the border but overall this idea doesn't seem to be supported by the data I've seen so far.
