It doesn't mean that much since this term is inaccurate and can mean pretty much anything. I have seen people calling even guys like George Clooney ''morenos''.

Answering to the OP question, I think she passes as both.

Moreno can be used for a lot of people in Brazil. Sometimes people use it to refer to dark-skinned Black people because they believe saying "Black" sounds racist or degrading :picard1:. Other times, people use "moreno" to refer to mixed people (most common association) and to refer to dark-haired Whites. It is a very broad term in Brazil.

It isn't a common association, but there are quite a lot of people who do use "moreninho" when talking about Black people. This has been changing, however.

But that's because someone with the skin color of Akon is very rare in Brazil, even among dark-skinned Blacks.

Beyond Hungary gypsies are over 50% 'European' and in Hungary many are 50-50
In Britain they called gypsies even natives who adopted that lifestyle.

I don't know for sure

The thing with Gypsies is there were different waves of migrations into the whole of Europe from different directions.

The only thing sure is that scientists say all Gypsies of Roma origins who speak Romani dialects can trace their origins back to the
Indian subcontinent but even in North West Europe there are native Gypsy"Roma" communities recorded since the Middle Ages
at least since 600 or 500 years roughly and in other parts of Europe they even exist much longer

Moreno in some parts of the country can have a very broad meaning. Basically anyone who is dark-haired could be a moreno. I think "wog" would be the closest translation, since wog encompasses people ranging from South Europe, South Asia, West Asia and Africa.
