Really? I don't think she is a mulatta. But I know a lot of people suspect that she is. I think she really looks pretty much like a darker southern Italian/Sicilian and could pass in parts of Northern Africa for sure. If there is any SSA in her my guess it's about 4-5 percent certainty not more than 10 percent. I can't imagine its any higher than that. Maybe your right though, but until she or her family admits it we won't know for sure.

Yes. She does not even look like the most exotic Sicilian. She looks more like a half Ethiopian, half Italian or someone who is mixed Italian and West African.

This was her when she was young. It is obvious to me one of her parents is black, as she looks NOTHING like either parent or her sisters. She looks blacker than many Egyptians.

She's undoubtedly bi-racial and/or at least 25 percent sub-saharan.

My dad and a few other of his family members have the same or very similar skin coloring as Melissa Gorga. They are of Sicilian and Calabrese ancestry. I am no where near as dark as my dad but still retain an olive skin tone and can get really brown in the summer sun. My dad was like that all year long, lol. I have taken the ancestry DNA test and score no Sub Sarahan African and so has a cousin who is as dark as my dad. He scores zero ssa as well. We do however score pretty high on the middle eastern ancestry though. Maybe she is indeed part black ,maybe she isn't. I'm just saying it although most Italians are lighter in skin tone it IS possible for southern Italians to be that dark.

It's not a matter of dark. She has clearly African influenced features.

My dads father had features that you could conclude were SSA, he had a flatter nose and his hair was jet black and it was tightly tightly curled. He was sporting a Afro years before going bald as I remember him. My cousin has the Afro now. My dad's hair was jet black but pin straight though like mine. So who knows....but no ssa in our ancestry tests.

The only thing that makes her look different is the bad spray tan.

In her older pictures she looks like one of those stereotypical dark Italians that you don't see often but certainly exist. And considering almost all Italian immigrants to the U.S. were from southern Italy, particularly Siciliy, it would explain why she looks the way she does.

I see no evidence or anything convincing that would indicate she is biracial. All that's going on in this thread is incredulity. Without the spray tan she's just as dark as her Italian husband. Is he a quadroon as well? lol. Actually, according to this logic, her biological father is also a quadroon since he's just as dark as she is (the sun light is shining on his arms, matching her skin tone, but not his face):
