Makes sense, though they don't really seem to fit as 'Chinese' in phenotype to me, quite off to be Chinese IMO. I'm not too knowledgeable about it but do these classes of people have actual SouthAsian/Dravidian blood in them?

I watched the video of Northeast Indians. NE India has some Indian looking people as well.

I guess it varies between the individuals there which is pretty cool. IMO they have some of the most interesting genetics, quite a mixed group of people.
