Interestingly the first one was supposed to be an Italian-Canadian character, but he looks far more Greek to me than the second one, who actually was playing a Greek character but looks literally Russian.

1st one passes in Greece easily, 2nd hardly passes & people would assume he is a foreigner.

Only the 1st passes in Greece. For some reason many diasporan Greeks (even some who claim to be fully Greek) look different than the Greeks back in Greece.
