The lighter types look quite British/Irish or even German to my eyes, similar to many French types from central and northern France. The darker ones actually look similar to some of the less Balkan-influenced Greeks, largely Atlanto-Med types that are pan-Southern European.

Most could pass in Italy but I would not be able to pinpoint them to any regions specifically except to say they look neither, as a group, far northern nor far southern. Maybe Tuscany without as much Dinaric influence fits.

This woman looks as Greek as it gets.

I am doing them all separately, classifying and where they pass.

1. Atlanto-Med. France, Italy, Greece.
2. Med-Baskid. France, North Italy.
3. Atlanto-Alpine. France, British Isles.
4. Atlanto-Med/Pontid. Greece.
5. Med-Taurid. South Italy, Israel, Cyprus. Looks almost Jewish.
6. Atlanto-Med/Pontid. Greece.
7. Atlanto-Med. France, Italy, Greece.
8. Borreby. Ireland, UK, France, Germany.
9. North Atlantid. Pan-European, except Slavic countries.
10. Alpine-Med. Greece.
11. Med-Berid. Southern Italy.
12. Borreby, but looks almost Slavic.
13. Alpine. France, UK, Ireland.
14. Atlantid. France, UK, Ireland, Italy.
15. Atlanto-Baskid or Keltic-Nordid. Uk, Ireland, France.
16. Atlanto-Med. All of South Europe.
17. Atlanto-Med/Pontid. Balkans, including Greece. Looks more eastern than most Portuguese.
18. Atlanto-Med/Armenoid. South Italy, Israel.
19. Borreby. Looks pure German, Dutch, or Scandinavian and nothing else.
20. Atlanto-Med/CM. Greece.

Thanks, good input.

As far as extremes, I would say that nr 2 (facial feature wise) could pass easily as North African caucasoid and 19 as typical Scandinavian.

The outliers to me are #8, #12, #18, and especially #19.

For all of the others I'd have listed Iberia as a passable place.. the ones above, if I didn't know, I'd never list it for them.

I almost said #2 could be Sicilian but the face shape and mouth area are a bit "off". Ultimately I decided I can see something in her more common to northern Italy, but I'd surely either see her as Italian or French.
