A random sample confirms to me that Greeks are very square-headed, and have far-spaced eyes.

I have not heard of most of these.

18, 15, 13, 10, 6, 1 and maybe 8 and 9 are the ones that don't resemble any kind of Italian that I have seen. All the others could pass in Italy and some in Iberia for me. The girl in pic number 15 looks Ukrainian and the guy in pic number 6 looks Turkish.

19 and 16 look a bit Spanish. In my opinion the ones that don't look like classic/typical Greeks are: 15,8 and 1.

Btw, number 15 is from northern Greece and her surname is a Turkish word, so there is a possibility that she's is of Anatolian Greek ancestry.

If we start not to include groups of people that were originally non native to Greece then the list of people is going to get very short.
Arvanites, Pontians, Vlachs, Anatolians, Dorians - yes Dorians like the Spartans and Macedonians were non native Greeks.

For me if a particular person belongs to a group that has been for a long time in Greece, has been assimilated and has Greek conscience, then they are good enough to be considered Greek. Of course we can point out their ancestry eg Arvanite, but that's all there is to it. They should not be excluded from these types of posts.

It seems like this is consensus: intermediate between South Slavs and Italians. I have always maintained this -- I never meant to say Greeks look distinctly more Balkan, just that there are types that cannot fit in Italy and others who can.
