I chose all players born in Romania. One might be a gypsy and one has a surname that's Ricardo.

The Ricardo guy is Romanian, his full name is Ricardo Florin Grigore (I googled him).
Foreign names are popular these days in Romania.

How about Serban Ionut? What's up with that face? Never saw anyone like that before, having the eyes so far apart.

They are a good Southern Romanian average. Alpine-Med-Dinaric mainly with Aryan and Baltid elements

Is the first guy a common overall look in Romania?

There was a Romanian guy in my village that looked exactly like that guy. Same round face and everything.

All Romanians except R1a ones are Romans, people who enjoyed full Roman Citizenship in Roman Empire.

They are mixture of all Roman citizens, Celts, Illyrians, Thracians etc... since they were mostly military caste of Roman Empire.

They are Dinarid, Pontid mostly just like Serbs, Bosnians.

Stop talking nonsense, Slavs were not only R1a.

What about Romanians who are R1b? R1b in Romania is 15,5% https://www.eupedia.com/europe/european__y-dna_haplogroups.shtml (https://www.eupedia.com/europe/european_y-dna_haplogroups.shtml)

Your ancestors by male line were not Roman citizens because I2-CTS10228 came with Slavic invaders in VII century, deal with it.

I2-CTS10228 is originally from Belarus, there is more I2-CTS10228 in Ukraine and Belarus than in the Balkans, deal with it.

Angular faces are not uncommon at all, man.

Maybe a mix. But his eyes could be just an atypical trait. :dunno:
