Most accurate world map

The European Space Agency has developed a new global map of the Earth, which is now available for free on the Internet.

The cartography, drawn up with the Envisat satellite data, is the most precise done so far by the project GlobCover. (Ten times more accurate than any done to date.)

GlobCover project has developed a service that offers global composites and land cover maps of terrestrial input observations 300m MERIS sensor aboard Envisat satellite mission.
