Im thinking of getting ancestryDNA actually rather than 23andme, Ancestry seems more accurate and it goes further back in time

thats good too. you can upload your ancestry raw data to gedmatch and many other things. this one you can upload your 23andme, ftdna, ancestry etc. it is very detailed, it lists countries and even regions within countries. look at the sample report.

Ancestry goes back around 300-500 years same as 23namde me iirc. One weird thing about ancestry is how it usually gives Europeans Caucasian even if other calcs don't pick that up. You can find out your Ydna using the raw data although it's not going to be able to find your clade

I was told it takes around 7 days though someone on the 23andMe forums said they got theirs after 2 days.

I can't upload, because .gz files (FTDNA) are not allowed. What can I do? Send the files by e-mail?

Is it true that TA member "Litvin" was the one to develop this test for the Spanish company? Here are my results btw:

There's no way they can get down that accurately, it's just impossible.

Is it accurate for you?No, it was not. I'm very galician and have portuguese and silician ancestry, and look what it says. But i am not going to lie, it was pretty interesting.
