Southern Italians/Sicilians closer genetically to Sephardic or Ashkanazi Jews?

My guess would be Ashkanazi but Sephardic could make sense too as they seem more Mediterranean based

Autosomally, Ashkenazi in general, but in other metrics/ways of analyzing DNA (IBD, similarity in Y-DNA or mt-DNA), I'm less sure.

Fairly the same. Maybe a bit more towards Ashkenazim.
I am a Sephardi and I plot right on Sicily (which is kind of surprising when you look at the amount of Berber DNA than should "Down Shift me" I guess I have enough European DNA to make up for it.
