Sicilian cousin (100% Palermitan). She is closest to southernmost Italians and to Crete/Dodecanese. She is interestingly closer to Levantines and to Egyptians/Tunisians even than to Iberians, and roughly equidistant between Levantines and Balkan Slavs.

Not entirely, they are the regions with which I usually have more "proximety" when I run gedmatch's calculators: Iberia, North Italy and South France.

Illyrians, Thracians, Dacians are exactily where they always were!

Albanians are only more Greek shifted cause they were Illyrians who were bordering Greece, while
other tribes have a bit Steppe people admixture.

Look how we are closer to Italians and Greeks i comparison with Spaniards or French not to mentio Germans.

Was that even contested?

I've never considered otherwise.

Since I started learning history I was told that South Italy is Greek, and that rest of Italy was partially Greek as well.

But more important, this map shows that South Slavs = Fake identity.

If we were Slavs, we would had 28 like Belarus or Russia, not 65.

Well Romania is 79, that's 1 point before RED (80)

Serbia 78, two points before RED.

Also we are on the border of many civilizations: Germanic, Greco-Roman, Slavic..

So as you see both Slavs, Greeks, Germans.. are somewhat close to us.

My highest is Dutch but only one point or two higher than England. I maintain that true Anglo-Saxons/British are closest to the Dutch not Germans I have darker hair. My hair is Dark like West Britain and Anglo-Saxons tend to have mousy brown hair or light brown although some are blond :

I'm closer to the Welsh than to North Germans. From what I know I am a West German + South German + Brit mix with a very small bit of Italian and a shred of Ashkenazic

I think Celts lived in modern-day South Germany and West Germany a couple thousand years ago and could have been "Germanized" over time, as they admixed with Germanic speaking tribes.

I'm also open to the fact that we don't really know what Celtic is. People are usually grouped my language and culture (which is largely dependent upon the language being spoken)
