Ancient Slavs, were they a Farmers or Hunter Gatherers?

As any Bronze Age population in Europe excluding the invading Huns,early Slavs had a farmer and herder lifestyle.

The genetics of Slavs are not Neolithic Farmer however,but with Mesolithic Hunter-Gatherer roots,and for Balkan I2 Slavs even Upper Paleolithic.
