Alpine + Med. He looks a little bit like Pavarotti.

He looks Balkan to me.

Really? I honestly wouldn't place him outside of south Europe + maybe Albania & Romania. I really really like his phenotype though.

He can pass almost nowhere outside Greece :)

In Albania he can pass because of Boreio Epirotes :biggrin

I don't know much about Albanian phenotypes outside of Dinarids, I just assume they have some 'med' overlap due to proximity. He looks very Greek or Italian to me anyway, but Cretan especially.

A pure example of a Greek Alpha male. Mostly Alpine with some Mediterranean admixture.

Alpine-Med?

Passable in Italy, France, Balkans, and maybe as a darker Central European. Also Spain too (Alpines are present there, but much less than Greece, Italy, and especially France).

Certainly Alpine types exist in Balkans

But how is Alpine a typical Balkan look?

Not Alpine in general , but the wide face is pretty common in the Balkans.

He would pass in all of Italy and France-- not just southern France either. Possibly in Central Europe also.
