Jesus Joseph and Mary it says,

“She’s a Native American and I have a little bit of that blood in me,” she said. “It would be a bit of a stretch – but if Jake Gyllenhaal can be the Prince of Persia, I think that I can do that.”

Megan’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother, Mary Powhatan, was said to be Native American, and of the Powhatan tribe. This ancestry comes through Megan’s paternal grandmother. If this claim accurate, it would make Megan of 1/256 Native American ancestry

Of course that is possible.

Not really. But then again the vast majority of Cherokees are of predominately Euro descent. They intermarried a lot.

Then they don't know much about their own history. It was illegal to marry blacks for awhile but Indians were mostly considered fair game.

I don't think Keraunos was saying she doesn't look white, I think he meant to say that she passes better than her parents as a cherokee admixed person. What is true.

According to ethnicelebs.com she may be 1/256th Native ameican.

Megan’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother, Mary Powhatan, was said to be Native American, and of the Powhatan tribe. This ancestry comes through Megan’s paternal grandmother. If this claim accurate, it would make Megan of 1/256 Native American ancestry. No other Native American ancestry, Cherokee or otherwise, has been documented on any of Megan’s publicly available family trees. All of Megan’s grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents are listed as “White” on United States Censuses.
It'd be shocking if someone 255/256th white and 1/256th native american looked part native.

I don't see any Cherokee in her to be honest, she just has a slight darker complexion (just hair, really) than her parents. She has Native American-looking cheeks, but those are also common in the centre-west of the British Isles and north-western France, it's a "Celt" trait.

She does fit very very well in south and west England and in Wales though and the wiki says she's mostly English.

Absolutely stunning woman, regardless.

Well, people here say Aframs looks part white even tho their white ancestry goes back to Slavery.

I wish she would keep that natural Chestnut-Bown colour, makes her look even more Mid-British or "Celtic". Still gorgeous though.

Because it's way more than 1/256, it's like 15-20% on average.

Still distant. The full white ancestry on Beyoncé's family tree is trace back to 1800s according to celebs ethnicity. And it is only on her creole side. The only reason her mother has a mixed appearance is because Creoles married each others. Also, mulattoes married blacks.

I never saw a British with black hair. Its very common in the UK people with fake black hair, also among celebs from US. So, of course her real hair would be really brown.

What?

I said that I find that her natural hair colour prettier in my opinion, which happens to be common in southern and western England and Wales. I never said black hair is common in those regions for me to expect her hair to be black.
