Look at number 16, 9(has basically the same hair texture as myself), and the 2nd upper left guy looks like he has some curlish hair as well, but let's exclude him and do some math.

That makes it about 19% of Spanish players in that photo has curly hair and this is just a random sample. Coon wrote that curly hair was not uncommon among Spaniards. That also doesn't take into account the ones that might straighten their hair like Abel Ruiz seems to sometimes do if you google photos of him.

most don't look like what people in the US think spaniards look like. Also, curly hair isn't common in my family at all. Most of us have wavy hair, FWIW.
