Nice question, but I don't know

Then we can just conclude it's an accurate looking map.

Bring back the 1933 borders!

Germany should also get back Alsace-Lorraine though. A historically German area and Germany never looks complete without it on a map.

Interesting map...I wish I could read some Japanese lol.

I wonder why Spain+Italy+Russia are all green. As far as I know only Germany+Italy+Japan were part of the Axis powers during World War II.

Ideal borders would be

Germany: Weimar Germany + most of Alsace-Lorraine (excl. small Francophone part) + Austria + South Tyrol + Sudetenland + Eupen-Malmedy + Danzig + Memel

Poland: 1933 Poland + Zaolzie

Italy: 1933 Italy + Nice + Savoy + Corsica + Malta - South Tyrol (Also give them Libya for settler colonization)

France: Modern France + Wallonia - Nice - Savoy - most of Alsace-Lorraine - French Flanders - French Basque territory - Corsica - Brittany (independence) - Northern Catalonia (Compensate them with Algeria to turn back into a settler colony)

Netherlands: Modern Netherlands + Flanders (incl. Brussels) + French Flanders

Ireland: All 32 counties

Greece: Modern Greece + Cyprus + Eastern Thrace + Ionia
