This is crazy here, french people are getting depressed and hysterical from his loss. There is nothing on TV tonight except his shows on every channel xD He was really loved and admired for decades, an iconic guy. Specially the generation of our parents loved him I guess.

Johnny’s maternal grandmother was Jeanne Marie Clerc (the daughter of Pierre Jean Claude Maxime Clerc and Claudine Marie Joséphine Gros). Maxime was the son of Pierre Antoine Clerc and Anne Pourcelot. Claudine was the daughter of Jacques Joseph Gros and Marie Élisabeth Vienney.

No she doesn't look really french (Laura), her mother does though :D

I didn't know about David's ancestry :eek: I always thought Sylvie Vartan his mother was french. I would have never guessed she's Armeno-Bulgarian / Hungarian, wow ! So David Hallyday is like 1/4 Belgian 1/4 french 1/4 Armeno-Bulgarian and 1/4 Hungarian:confused:
