This is the geographical definition of West Asia:

My question
The West Asian admixture is based on which archaic population of that region? Is it equal to Caucasus Hunter-Gatherers? Provide some peer-reviewed papers or geneticists' opinions.

Caucasus component which peaks in west georgia and circassians

baloch (gedrosia) is also often included/count as west asian and as far as I know said to be similar to CHG

if you want to see both components individually then dodecad k12b is a good choice

West Asian on here usually refers to CHG, oldest source was Kotias 13k years ago. Its high in regions around Georgia.
Iran_Neo has ASI admix and peaks in Balochis, Pashtuns (SC Asia)

Arabian Peninsula doesn't count as West Asia for genetics as I know. I may be wrong though.

West Asia = Caucasus
Red Sea = Arabian Peninsula
East Med = Levant
