The issue with Romanians is that they have that ex-Hungarian region that isn't MED & MENA, (the one acquired after WW2), so we shouldn't pick those as average.

I've seen many Romanian kits, especially K15 Gedmatch results, and they are pretty much the same all over the country except that one region.

They are Thraco-Roman + some early Proto-Slavic admixture i.e. 60% Italian/Greek 20% Slav 10% Celtic/Germanic

Dude, Romanians from that so-called ex Hungarian region are just as Romanian as the rest, so why not... Romanians are not a homogenous people., but I have a feeling that some people still can't comprehend that.
And those kits are mainly from Southern Romania, no way they are the same all over the country.

What did you do with Arabian, Near East, and Armenian? Did you include that in MENA or? left a large chunk out....... For simplicity sake I will keep them separate.

NE Euro: 11.07%

Arabian/Near East/Armenian: 9.89%

NW Euro: 7.92%


My Father(Northern Albanian Gheg, Diber Vogel, Albania):

SW Euro & MENA: 74.22%

NE Euro: 13.51%
