I would say a good, introspective question to start with is, "Why do I think and act the way I do?"; that can act as a good catalyst to spark one's cognitive reserves to branch off from there. That polishes one's critical thinking skills to being more articulated and in depth that furthers one's interests in more cognitively-complexed notions. Which in turn, furthers one's analytical skills in a league of its own when it comes to the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.
