Five dollars and you get your results quickly. In a nutshell it is a 3d cube and you have to move your cursor around in that one particular cube and it tells you what your ancestries are. My cube was purple for example. Inside that cube was quite a bit of light blue which was Finnish. Dark purple which represented Italian and so forth. They will send you a ID number via email. That is the key to using all their calcs.

They are not going to provide you with the specifics you are looking for. Their format is unique.

It's only five dollars and the health calc is worth it but you may not like some of the results. I found all the Finnish genes interesting but it seems like I match with most Finns who test on the major services.

Guys. If you uploaded before your rawdata to DNA.LAND your genome was imputed for free by them already:)

Just look at this website section where are your personal files for download... It this imputed vcf file. I uploaded it to gedmatch genesis then.

After all, possibly bastard ( I have suspicion who could be...) who run www.impute.me use DNA.LAND. This is why you must wait few days. It is rawdata trap:)

Question to him but it is much worse because of that. So he didnt use dna.land but still it doesn't make sense to send him data.

They don't check anything, they just guess it. Imputation is about guessing. I do not believe that it is reliable.

The worst thing is that all 23andMe v5 chips now are about imputation. Which is why it is crap compared to v4.

i tried it with the id in the site for sample results { not my own results}
do you need to go to the black dot inside the cube ?
i think in the damn cube there is no slavic refernces
so they are going to next closer cluster finns .....
maybe thats why you score finn there is no eastern european refernce.

When you get your results you will get a email. There will be no confusion on your part. It's simple.

No percentages. Just a big cluster and you can see some aspects of the different colors within the cluster are bigger than others. Inside my purple cluster was a significant portion of light blue which represented Finnish. It was my biggest contribution to the cluster.

No. It's just a hollow white cube with different colored dots representing different clusters. And it says your particular ethnicity will be the black dot.

Mine says this:Your genome is indicated as a slightly larger black dot in this plot, you may have to zoom in to see it. Look in the purple cluster.


Inside that Purple cluster is all your ethnicities. The dot just lets you know you are in the right place.

Ahh, okay! Yeah that sounds about right based on what you said earlier in the post about them perceiving your Slavic as Finnish.

You're probably right. It said my hair color would be dark brown, and my height 4 inches shorter.
Said I had a very high risk for lymphoma too, so I guess it worked out for me by being shit, lol.

Impute me is not really meant as a ethnicity calculator. They have an ethnicity calculation, but that's to correct and normalize all the trait and medical estimates they give. Trait prediction is the main thing of impute-me, not ethnicity.

The one nice thing, is that because their ethnicity estimate is set up like that - as a PCA analysis - it also becomes pretty robust. Coarse, not so fine-grained, but very robust against oddities introduced in other algorithms. So it can be very useful for double checking results, particularly for ethnicities that don't usually fly well with the usual ancestrycom/23andme calculators.
