I think it is accurate. James Slick got my mtdna subclade accurate before I had tested with FMS on FTDNA. If you want to find out more about your MTDNA you need to invest in more testing.

James Slick got my subclade right too, when 23andme had just given me H. I later got my mtdna fully sequenced with ftdna and it matched James Slick’s prediction.

Living DNA also gave me my full subclade in their standard test.

Those autosomal tests also test for Mtdna snps which is how they are able to pick up your Mtdna from the autosomal test. Just like how Ydna snps are also tested and picked up
