Anyone else got their DNA results from Dr Doug McDonald?
My results:

He also sent me something which I guess is Mixed Mode:
Poland= 0.935 Armenian= 0.065 or
Poland= 0.929 Sephardic= 0.071 or
Poland= 0.923 Jewish= 0.077 or
Poland= 0.888 Tuscan= 0.112 or
English= 0.482 Poland= 0.518 or
Poland 0.8432 Spain 0.1568
it could be any of those pairs, or pretty much Poland plus mixes of other Euro places.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I sent him my grandmother's but he doesn't process 23andme v5. :picard1: Neither do MyHeritage and FTDNA. If I had known this, I would have simply done AncestryDNA even though I prefer 23andme.

He did process my FTDNA. But I told him about my "Iberian" Y-DNA and Scottish Y-STR matches to get him interested:

I mean 23andme v5 cannot go on FTDNA or MyHeritage.

23andMe is good for Americans, but some of their services are not available for Europeans (for example health reports).
The guy doesn't want to do it for me, IDK why. He never responded.

Try this converter to convert 23andMe v5 to FTDNA or Ancestry:
http://www.y-str.org/2013/06/autosomal-dna-converter.html
Or upload v5 to DNA.Land and maybe it will convert it to v4?

I can't download any software to do this -- this is why I cannot do DIY Dodecad. You have my grandmother's file, could you do it for me? If you do, I will find some way to make it up to you.

Does he accept 23andMe v4 raw data?
Also, what is his new email address? I remember him writing this (from this website (https://isogg.org/wiki/McDonald%27s_BGA_project)):
"I am being swamped by requests for BGA analyses. I simply can no longer accommodate all these requests. I am, at least for a while, going to continue providing them free, if people will limit themselves to sending only "important" ones. These include adoptees looking for answers and people whose commercial analyses provide strange answers to whether they have Native American, African or Jewish ancestry.
Note that the new 23andMe "Ancestry Composition" is, on a "continent" level, essentially as good as my system. FTDNA and Ancestry are much less accurate and if you tested with them and they missed expected small bits, I still can take a look. If you are Afro-(Euro)American and FTDNA said you are part Eastern European, I'll check that. Try to describe the question you need answered.
I am still looking for special people to test as comparisons, mostly people with Native American not from Central America.
In particular, I really can't keep up with requests from essentially 100% European people unless they have special questions such as possible Jewish or Roma.
Also, if you have parents their children, please send only parents. Some people have sent me large numbers of files. If these people send more, I can look at them only if they have very very special needs.
Finally, if you got my address from some Web forum, please copy the above occasionally, as I do not frequent these."
How could you get him to respond to you if he doesn't accept all of his requests?

You can try saying that there might be something unusual or interesting about your DNA results.
For example I told him about my Y-DNA which is unusual for a Pole.

Some Iberian, Sephardic or Armenian admixture?
But based on this map, I plot more or less in western Poland (which is correct):
https://i.imgur.com/sZaopVm.png
However, my chromosome 20 has Middle Eastern admixture according to him:
https://i.imgur.com/JGH2CWv.png
Davidski from Eurogenes did not detect it, I guess, as he modeled me as:
Slovakian:average 84.5
Polish:average 14.95
English:average 0.55
But it isn't very helpful because I don't have any Slovakian ancestry for sure.
I asked him to remove Slovakians from comparison and try another model.

It seems like I have some Sephardic Jewish admixture according to Doug McDonald.
That's weird because so far no other test detected it.
But many people claim that it is hard to detect Sephardic, especially minor amounts.

It is the most likely possibility, this explain why you are modelled as Polish + Southern European or Sephardic.

In my k47 you have such by chromosome results (change in admix.par genomwide to bychr).
20 Chromosome = largest South Caucasian. But it is 21 which has most East-Med... I don't know what this Oldfart interpret as Middle-East. Probably he uses HGDP and 1000 Genomes data.
You have also quite large Meso-Amerind and Andean in some chromosomes. Combined with quite large for a Pole North-Iberian and East-Iberian (and Central-Med and West-Med). Maybe you have some returned Spanish Creole blood (combined with Iberian Sephardi? And your Latino obsession now is understandable:). But it is possible to see only in bychr mode. You must guess now how it was possible and when...
