Do West Asians & North Africans score any European on DNA tests?

Syrians, Iraqis, Jordanians, Lebanese, Isreali Jews,
Egyptians, Libyans, Tunisians, Algerians, Moroccans

Also Sami, Mari, Chuvash, Tatars and Kazakhs since they are 'borderline' populations (I expect Sami do score majorly European but maybe not entirely).

I'm not interested in the GEDmatch categories, just 23andMe type results.

I don’t know. He also wrote that other ancestor birthplaces are from USA, Bosnia, Israel and Turkey. Not sure how far down the line though.

Yes, they do, I think. Italian, Iberian, broadly Southern Euro, stuff like that.

North Africans score Iberian, often a significant amount, as well as smaller amounts of Italian/Sicilian.

Levantines can be modeled with Sicilian, if there is no Levantine component itself. On most autosomal tests, they can score minor amounts of Italian.

I've read on Forum Biodiversity that Sami get about 8% North Asian, so presumably the rest is European.
