There is a FTDNA Group of Rurik people that claim N1c1d1 YDNA of these people.
Also if we take into consideration that Oleg of Novgorod (Rurik) was a son of Hvitserk(son of Ragnar), we can asume that Ragnar himself was N1c1d1
Any other Ideas?
I really love that show , I also remember reading somewhere that some Vikings came to Southern Albania , maybe some of them settled there.

Indeed. Ragnar Was N1c1. Scandinavian N1c1 haplotype possess the distinctive value DYS390=23 found in Scandinavia but not in Uralic populations.
