What is the average number of SNP's used in Gedmatch calculations?

How many SNP's are used for K36 calculation example?

Anyone knows?

You can find that on the bottom of every evaluation in gedmatch.

Here what it says for my evaluation:

162250 SNPs used in this evaluation

Problem is,

23andMe v5 can be used on Genesis only, so I am using about 60k on Eurogenes K13.

How much are you using on K13?

I don't understand why people buy it still. It i simply much worse than previous v4, not to mention v3.

Well I did it last year, my mistake...

I've already purchased Y37 & Family Finder from FTDNA (still waiting for kit to arrive).

will gedmatch genesis get better at evaluating more snps? or they just want to keep it a crappy low amount?

Yeah, their costs are lower, but the price for customers is the same.

The main reason why they introduced v5 was to lower their costs.

If people massively start to buy FTDNA, Acnestry or even MyHeritage then 23&me kits, they should rethink their offer. Maybe lowering price for such crappy v5 would be fine?

Plesae people, inform in 23&Me threads that this is shit for the same price as much better older version.

This V5 chip seems to only be picking up 50k SNPS on Eurogenes k13, what the hell. Will this be fixed?
