As a Royalist, I propose we restore the monarchy and return former aristocratic families to their former glory. Those poor rednecks scattered in trailer parks across the South will be the new landed gentry. Their ancestral estates will be restored to them. Firearms will be confiscated from the majority of the population and ownership will be limited to the milita, which will be exclusively composed of alcoholic chainsmokers from podunk towns across the nation. Slavery will be reestablished, but not on racial lines, but through competitions, similar to that of the Hunger Games. The heads of families, as well as their first born sons, will be placed in an arena and will be ordered to fight to the death to save their family from the clutches of eternal servitude. Those unemployed, homeless, and mentally challenged will also be thrown into the arena. The emperor will be elected by the landed gentry, but will be limited to war vets, country singers, and Western actors. The national anthem will be Dixie and the flag will be a modified Old Glory, incorporating either the Bonnie Blue or the Stars and Bars. Disgracing either will be punishable by death. Camps will be set up to indoctr----reeducate those on American values and culture, primarily cock fighting, country music, football, NASCAR, beer drinking, trucks, and appropriate attire (Meaning cowboy hats, plaid, exceedingly large belt buckles, and square or round toe boots). Each citizen will be alotted a log of Copenhagen and/or Grizzly snuff, as well as a bottle of Kentucky bourbon, and a buck knife.

Monarchy is a better arrangement than a republic, but I don't agree with the most you have written. It should follow the examples of modern European monarchies.

American will be the official language and all those who refuse to speak American will be lined up against the wall and shot or deported to some third world shithole that we blew to hell.

Monarchy will never happen in America because America is not really a nation in any deep or meaningful sense. It is an artificial political order, nothing more. Monarchy requires a king who is of his own people, and America lacks that.

I could only see monarchy rising in America the same way the Romans adopted their Empire. Otherwise, I guess a family like the Kennedys or the maybe some lesser historical political family (the Lees for instance) could take the mantel of Emperor of America.

Whatever you do. A Trump dynasty might seem like a good idea, but it probably is not.

Well Canada (like Australia and New Zealand) is a Constitutional Monarchy with Queen Elizabeth II as their sovereign ruler and head of state.

I'm not sure if a Royal Kingdom would work in the US though, like it does in the Royal Kingdom of Canada. Americans like their freedom.

Would Americans rather be referred to as Her Majesty's 'subjects' in speeches, or as citizens?

The UK Royal Coat of Arms carries the traditional motto 'Dieu et Mon Droit', (from Richard the Lionheart of England and France.) 'My God and My Right'. (My god-given divine right to rule and reign.)

Canada's Queen Elizabeth II speech in English and French to her commonwealth subjects in Canada.

The infamous Westminster Chimes can be heard in the background ... like Big Ben chiming in London's Westminster. They also have a place called London in Canada with a River Thames, Canadian royal military air and naval forces, royal guards, etc.

RAF Search & Sea Rescue pilot HRH Prince William (the future King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the British Overseas Territories, and the British Commonwealth Nations,) landing his rescue helicopter in Canada during a royal visit there.

Prince William's royal speech to Canada (in French.) I think HRH (His Royal Highness) Prince William is the descendent of a tall and aristocratic Norman, following the Norman Conquest.

You wish. In California at least, I hardly know anynone that would care to identify with Britain or the UK.

We have more Americans with German ancestry (its usually in combo with Irish or some other Euro ethnic group) here than Anglos, which is more in the South and Northeast.

Is American an actual language?

I think a monarchy will do you good considering the fact that American is a language and all of that hopefully it will raise your education standards- you can have ours.

The crown to the thrown of Greece after Prince Pavlos is half American.

Since we have no need for them you have American royalty right here except he is 14 years old.

Ehhhhhh, im good. Rather not be ruled by a pre-pubescent immigrant. In all seriousness, there are some linguists that define American as a language.
