Why
Looks Jomon features like my family members, not general Asians...a little ethnic from my view.
But most Japanese actresses are with plastic surgery, so it may be wrong the phenotype of her.

Saying she looks jomon is like saying many Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese look Jomon.

It is difficult to explain the differences about Jomon atmosphere.
This photo, maybe Vivian Hsu?, looks more Taiwanese, Okinawan or SE Asian.
I feel central asian atmosphere from 3rd Fujii photo, its similar to my female relatives.
My family from more isolated area in Japan has central Asian, Siberian DNA genetically close archaic central Asian DNA.
Maybe its Jomon and proto-Mongolians but not clear.

None whatsoever.
Agreed. There is nothing special about her appearance, she just looks pretty with not typical Asian traits but's it's not anything unique only to Japan.

Do not confuse Paleo-Mongoloid traits with Caucasians.
SOUTH CHINESE / TAIWANESE CELEBRITIES
Put these guys ( in the above pictures ) next to the typical Japanese and even you would claim these South Chinese, Taiwanese, Southeast Asians as Jomon influence/Ainu.
