First time poster, long time lurker. Out of all the biodiversity sites online, this is my favorite. Everyone here seems very "professional" (for lack of a better term?) and educated. So, I wanted to post some pics of this girl I like and see if you guys can tell what she is!

She was born in the USA, but her parents are immigrants. Each parent is from a different country.

Can you guess what her ancestry is? And which country would you say she would hypothetically fit in best?

She looks a bit pontid. Her mom is from the Balkans or Ukraine perhaps?

Actually, I can tell from the guesses that it might take a while for someone to correctly guess as she looks more NW Euro so I will just tell the answer. Her mom is a Tatar from Kazakhstan. I think I can see it a little bit in the eyes (maybe?? IDK)

Iron Pill - I think your guess is probably the closest out of anyone's (for her mom.) I don't know how closely related people from the Balkans and people from Kazakhstan are but I'm guessing that maybe they share a lot of West Asian/Caucasian DNA (or, at least Albanians and Bulgarians do?)
