My Northern British is funny because in Warsaw they have a derogatory phrase that "Poznaniak to Szkot wygnany z ojczyzny za skąpstwo" ("A Pole from Poznan region is a Scotsman expelled from his homeland for stinginess.").

I also have Scottish Y-DNA matches. But my subclade is "Iberian".

They actually took away my 4% Iberian (SW Euro) in this update.

In K47 me and your dad plot very close to each other, but there are some differences in admixture proportions. I made a comparison of my results (Polish) and your dad's results (Slovak):

Yeah but K47 results are not based on imputed files, but normal raw data files. I'm very close to his dad (Slovak1), but different components are pulling the strings (so to speak). KarolK is АКСИС (I used his old nick):

I think Celtic and North Sea Germanic is like the same component. He should do something to better distinguish these two components IMHO.

Agreed. My known ancestry is 31% Scottish and yet I only get an average of 5% Northern British rounded up for all uploads. Meanwhile the OP gets 15%!

you should do a thread based on just poles from your region with this calc. Id be interested to see that. Also how many polish gedmatch kits do you have from ur reigion?
