I am not sure about his ancestry.
His father had been a Nazi, but he died, when Fux was a boy of 5 years.
His stepfather was imprisoned by the gestapo, cause he had been a socialist. Hist mother was imprisoned short time by the gestapo, she told a joke about Hitler, nothing else. Fux himself was an anti-fascist.
