Does anybody's parent's dna results have components that you dont show in your own results?

yes my mother score west central europe 11%vs 0% in me
my father score 5% west middle east vs 0% in me

how does it differ on well known tests such as 23andme and AncestryDNA

only tested them on ftdna :wink
but my brother took the west central europe of mother and the west middle east of father
i only score those as trace region below 1%

That's pretty awful

but there is always a contra
i got 11% rethelian and my brother scored it as less than 2% as a trace region
so the way dna is transmitted to brothers who are not identical twins is different
a child can get some segments from his mom that his brother didn't and
and he can can get some segments from his dad that his brother didn't
it is all random :)
