View Full Version : Isn't my MENA too high for 1/3th mediterranean ancestry?

Because im fairly confused where this could be coming from. Since i have too much mediterranean results to exclude them 2 just call my SW_Asian and Caucasus results just middle eastern, i know my middle eastern belongs to my mediterranean. But how come it's so high? I've seen a Ukrainian take the Eurasia K9 ASI test and they scored around 7% SW_Asian but around 16.80% Neolithic farmer, which is like almost exactly 4% more than me, but look at my results in test in general.

^ aren't these results wayyy to MENA for me? That's why i concluded that i had either Italian or Sicilian ancestry as they are known to have around 25% Caucasus or West Asian.

^ These results make more sense as my general SW_Asian is lower, but it is still there and it is definitely above noise level. And it also shows alot of Sardinian so could that be my supposed Sicilian ancestry?

Here's a Dodecad test because Doug McDonald recommended it to me and you will once again see similar levels of MENA.

As you see, 5.92 + 1.90% = 7.82% MENA. This one is a little bit less but once again it's still there.


And a last test, i am just picking random tests 2 proof to you that there is MENA ancestry nevertheless and a good chunk of mediterranean too.

So can anyone help me proof that it is indeed part of my italian? It would make sense as i have no known middle eastern ancestors at all. I would appreciate yall help once again lol
