Can't tell without a side pic but he looks Mediterranean with some Dinaric influence. Heterochromia is actually ridiculously common in Greece for being such a rare occurrence, I know a Greek and a half Greek half Serb here who have it.

Maybe it's a Balkan thing? I know Alexander had it.

Word - fairly common amongst Greeks when I say common its just so out of this world that when you see it you go aw crap is that for real.. then couple of years you come across another and another. Total percentage would be very low but common nonetheless. Definitely not out of the box in Greece.
