So, I just started an mtDNA blog; mtDNAwiki Blog (http://mtdnawiki.com/). mtDNA is the most confusing and neglected area of genetics. Confusion about my own mtDNA drove me to study mtDNA intensely for the last 3 years. I would definitely describe myself as an expert. I'm not being arrogant. I'm being honest.
At my blog I offer to tell people everything I know about their mtDNA for just $7 (http://mtdnawiki.com/order-an-mtdna-report-6/). Below is a picture of a mtDNA report I sent to a customer today so you can get an idea of what to expect if you order an mtDNAwiki Report.

I probably know more about European and West Eurasian mtDNA variation than anyone. Literally anyone. No one in academia puts so much focus on West Eurasian mtDNA as I do. Most instead study one very specific area, like mtDNA in Romani Hungarians. Plus they only study mtDNA when they are writing papers.
If you've taken an mtDNA test and are of West Eurasian decent you should order an mtDNAwiki Report for $7. It's in your own interest. Yes, I like making money but I also really like to help people learn about something they are confused about. It is why I'm an Education major.

I know stuff about all your guys mtDNA. H1c1 is a really interesting mHG. H11a1 has an oppposite distribution in Europe. Anyways, I can tell you guys legitmate information about your mtDNA that your DNA testing companies couldn't. ANd it is just for $7. That's not much of an addition to what you already payed for your DNA tests.
Any info on R0a2?
Yes.

Actually I use colored pencils. I'm not tech-savy. Colored pencils is the best alternative.

Why do you think so? From what i gathered it's a Doggerland originated mtdna, as far back as we could go that is.

H1c1 is about 5,000 years old. Doggerland disappeared 8,000 years ago. H1c1 derives from a late Neolithic expansion. It has been found in ancient DNA. I can't tell you much more. I don't have much French data so seeing H1c1 you confirms a geographic-span I suspected H1c1 has. That's why your mtDNA caught my interest.

I did the report. Was actually very informative. Till now I thought my Mtdna was Neolithic derived, but now it seems to be IE. The intro which states the place of origin, age etc is about T1a1 as a whole and not my specific clade which gets talked about later and seems to be a Balkan specific clade of T1a1 probably with origin there. Thanks to mtDNAwiki.

Well, too bad my mtdna is Amerindian xD, I don't think there's much to say about it, there are not as many researches as other MTDNAs. Nevertheless my basal Clade tops in Korea and Japan, and can be seen at low frequencies in Finland and parts of eastern europe.

You don’t need to send your file, you could send the markers and extra mutations given to you in the James slick Mtdna predictor

It's from the Baltics as opposed to Anatolia, Iberia or "Doggerland". I already did the full sequence test at ftdna. My matches are all Slavic and closest ones are two Poles but your Kelmendasi's report looks impressive to say the least anyway. it is probably worth the money.

Thank you for this! It was really helpful....I don't believe anyone else here has my mtDNA, so I will post the report.

You are Ashkenazi Jewish IIRC.
Doesn't your case confirm that European mtDNA of Ashkenazis is mostly Polish?

Cool, he also mentions my H11a1. Balto-Slavic as I figured already.

I have ashkenazi mtdna matches on ftdna. Obvioulsy from Polish/slavic women

I remember some study claimed that Ashkenazis intermarried with Euro women back in Rhineland. Apparently that's not true, if most of their Euro mHGs are typical for Slavic nations.

Not quite half Ashkenazi (on my mother's side), but mother's mother side is fully Ashkenazi, half Bulgarian Sephardic (on my father's side). And my mtDNA is quite uncommon for someone who is Ashkenazi, so this should not be seen as a typical result

There is both...You can find both Western European and Eastern European mtDNA subclades among Ashkenazi Jews, as well as some Middle Eastern.

Which are Western European? I think they are mostly Italian (so rather Southern European).
But a lot of European mtDNA originally came from Anatolia, the Levant and Caucasus. And AFAIK, most of Ashkenazi Jewish mtDNA is of Neolithic (rather than WHG or Steppe) origin.
Even subclades which are claimed to be European, are mostly Neolithic.

This site is dead now.
But I remember there weren't any Literature section. Everything could be straight from your ass. If you describe some clade / subclade you MUST provide link to papers from which you gathered info. In another case you can made up everything literally and we have no proof if it is true or not:)
Long wall of text isn't proof of being expert.
I don't recommend this shit to anybody unless he could prove for every description on site, not to mention report send to people, that this info is based on scientific sources.
