so i'm trying to research how legitimate my berber/north african/middle eastern ancestry is, and so i've gone on Gedmatch, searched up some kit no's for people with mainly that ethnicity.
i used 250 snps, 2 cm, and lowest snp 100.

Doug McDonald also told me that i had around 10% North African or Berber but he also told me like 4 times that the DNA fits weren't reliable AT ALL so it could be that i have more North african or Berber as i would expect because i tend to score alot of mediterranean also, specifically italian, south spanish (canary islander, and Extremadura etc) and Sicilian. Which is what i read somewhere that berbers are pretty close to as they are Mediterranean too (i hope i am correct because i dont wanna talk bullshit yknow XD) i read on many websites that true purebred white berbers are 100% mediterranean. But yeah i am no expert on that.
What do you guys think could my middle eastern heritage be proved more by this or am i just babbling bullshit like usual again XD lemme know pls i wanna make sure if i am actually making progress, anyone with middle eastern heritage and know their people let me know please. Thanks haha
