January 26 marks the 90th anniversary of the Entente powers' recognition of Estonia as an independent nation, which paved the way for other countries including the US to establish relations.
The seminar to commemorate the event in Tallinn will be opened by President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Latvian Parliament speaker Solvita Aboltina.
Reasearch abstracts and lectures will be presented by scholars at the seminar organized by the Foreign Policy Institute and the embassies of the original powers - Belgium, Italy, Japan, France and the United Kingdom.
