There is no Haplogroup nationalism, Haplogroups are only used in heated debates when ancestry is taken in question.

There is a lot of haplogroup nationalism. The most ridiculous example I know is that Russians claim that R1a is their haplogroup, that all R1a are Russians. Another one would be Poles claiming that only Poles are true R1a.
