I read he's hemshin. Hemshins were most probably Cumans who fled from Mongols, passed through Caucasus and settled in Northeast Turkey, adopted Christianity.

Artvin hemshins are ethnic Armenians, though it's wrong to call them Hemshin.

I also thought they were the same, apperantly aren't. Rise hemshins or hemshin propers are Turkish speaking Muslims with disputed origins who were Armenian Orthodox Christians, and Hopa hemshins who are just Armenians converted to Islam.

They think ,,blond+blue eyes= Slavic,or Scandinavian'' and aren't even paying attention to the features but In fact this kind of look is very common in Caucasus region(and Turkey probably because you also have Caucasian genes). Caucasians who are mixed with Slavs don't look like this at all.
