1998 - A Tiger tank (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_I) is excavated in near of Tukums. Tukums was in Courland pocket (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Courland_Pocket), WW2 fortification which was one of the harshiest in WW2. It surrended last.

2001 - A 6 years old boy who has cerebral palsy lies down on horses back.

2000 - Latvian national hockey team beats Russia. It's really great success because as you know russians are in the great 3(Sweden, Canada and Russia)

2001 - Article is about Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Centre which is one of the biggest in Europe.
