How do Albanians from Montenegro score autosomally?

I haven't seen much autosomal data on us Albs from Montenegro, is it inline with the other Gheg subgroups? (kosova, etc..) Do Albanians from MN get more south slavic or original balkan results?

Interesting. I see we plot Norther. Anyone have 23andme v4 results? 23andme v5 would not be a good judge as they put south slavs and albos in one group. AncestryDNA could be a good as it would show Eastern Europe %.

23andme V4 also puts Slavs into the Balkan group. I saw an Albo from Montenegro/Hoti score like 20% East Euro on Ftdna myorigins

You guys are close to other Albos obviously but closer to Kosovars and Gheg from the northern parts of Albania although you guys are still a bit more NW shifted than us. Some Albos from Montenegro did take Slavic brides which could explain why some Montenegrin Albs have East Euro admixture which is higher than that of other Albos

It's interesting, even in the look of Monte Albs, you can see that they are similar but different to the avg Kosovar look. I always though we had a unique look to the other subgroups. Maybe the East Euro admix explains this.

I dont have any data on Albanians from Montenegro, but in my opinion they are quite close to us Montenegrins in both cultural and genetic way.

Culturally we share similarities, genetically also because Montenegrins are of large percentage balkan/southerneuro which Albanians are.
