She looks very Pashtun. Irano-Afghan I guess.

Btw, Hindkowan/Hindki is the ethnicity whereas Hindko is the language.

Not really. Her features aren't Indian at all. She'd fit much better in Afghanistan than in Eastern Pakistan.

Ok...

But a significant part of people in North West India and Pakistan look that way?

What do you think about Hadiqa Kiani?

No, people in NW India/Eastern Pakistan don't look like the woman in the OP.

Hadiqa Kiani looks Punjabi.

She looks distinctively West and North Pakistani, will be atypical in East Pakistan.

Mostly Irano-Afghan.

+1 Plus, very atypical for most of South Asian, but not for NW South Asia and my relatives I've posted with light eyes, very fair skin and Central Asian/East Asian features are more atypical than her for NW South Asia.

Whoa, I had no idea Indians or Pakistanis could look anything like this! That's insane.

Would she be from an originally upper caste from long ago? (I know Pakistan doesn't have castes anymore since it's Muslim)

As someone lightly admixed with Gypsies (there's something Indian about her). I imagine her as a very good representative of Indo-Iranians once they entered India.

She's most likely of Pashtun origin. Her look is common among Pashtuns.

Eastern Pakistan (where 80% of the populace lives) has castes despite being Muslim. Western Pakistan (which is a cultural extension of Afghanistan like how Moldova is to Romania) doesn't have castes though. She's from an area transitional between the east and west but looks like she has western origins. I've seen several Pashtuns (including relatives) that look like her. She shouldn't be used as representative for South Asians (Indians, Pakistanis) when she most likely as Iranic origins. It would be like using Gypsies as representatives of Romanians and then saying "wow this is how some Romanians look!".

wrong anology with gypsies , gypsies are an altogether different people living in romania(they have very different admixtures) when many west and East Pakistanis are in cline with each other since they are neighbors for eons. Also finding her look would be way easier is so called indics of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit Baltistan/Chitral etc than in many iranic Balochs.

I'd say iranid. I think she's very light skinned even among the pashtuns.

Also I think she looks like a more robust, paler iranid version of a bollywood actress named Kiara Advani. She's half sindhi and half white.

The analogy wasn't perfect, but I meant that a minority from a different ethnicity shouldn't be used to represent a country in general. Using stereotypical Pashtun-looking people to represent South Asian countries like Pakistan and India when that type is pretty much non-existent there (outside a outlier ethnic groups with a distinct ethnography) makes no sense. I guess a better analogy would be using NE Indians to represent Indians since they are part of a cline with Bengalis and Nepalis. Or using Uyghurs to represent Chinese phenotypes since they are part of a cline with Tibetans and Hans.

I think some Baloches can look similar to her. Non-Kashmiri Dards can as well, but I'm doubtful about folk from Azad Kashmir.
