Foreign aid undermines local business. How are these people suppose to build up their local economy if they have to compete with stuff given away for nothing? They can't. It causes them all to suffer in the long run.

Often the rich in those nations take the aid and charge the people for it.

It's a complete mess.

US foreign aid map 2020:

Canada gives away $6.1 billion on foreign aid. Meanwhile China lends $315 billion to other countries so it can foreclose and seize their assets lel.

Foreign aid is useless because it's all seized by corrupt government officials and dictators in third-world countries. Imagine the money Canada and USA would save if they stopped foreign aid including for Africa.

Considering that western countries get nothing back for it except hatred and subversion, they should stop. I'd guess North America could be run by about 25% of what is currently taxed if done reasonably intelligently.
