Flags will be flying across Estonia on February 2 to mark the anniversary of the signing of the Tartu Peace Treaty in 1920, a key event in the nation's battle for independence.
The agreement, under which Soviet Russia officially recognized the sovereignty of Estonia, ended the 14-month-long War of Independence between the two states and established a border between them.
It was significant as the first de jure recognition of the fledgling nation since its declaration of independence on February 24, 1918.
