Well that makes sense because if you think of Sicilians as roughly halfway between Greeks and Cypriots, then you'd have something like this for plotting (and this appears to be the case):

They are somewhere between Sicilians and Aegean islanders, and Levantines.

I think there is something faulty about the MDLP "Cretan" sample though, because of the 10 or so Cretan results I have, none score it all that high. It might be from one part of Crete that does not reflect the island as a whole. Oddly, some of the closest matches to the Cretan sample are Sicilians from the Catania/Messina area.
