Shared with under Lazio & Campania is 522 now, Southern Italy 1000+ and Netherlands 372, so lots of IBD matches from these regions. This makes it a piece of cake for AncestryDNA to tell you where you're ancestors mostly came from, within a few 100 years.

Well.. yes, but only because some of my closest matches are Italian Americans and I placed them in my family tree.
