Cool results. I'm surprised that majority of his euro comes off as irish/scottish rather than baltic. The aryans that came to india had NE euro so he should get more of the baltic component. I think he got random subcategories, but the general categories make sense for the most part. It's also surprising that he got more west asian rather than central asian. Maybe the central asian is more mongoloid/siberian shifted
The main question is why is he 1% SSA? I guess MyHeritage is far from accurate.

I wouldn't say its inaccurate. Honestly I find these results more accurate than the major testing companies such as 23andme, AncestryDNA, and ftdna. 1% SSA might just be a calculator effect or some ancient ancestry coming up as such. Besides its only 1 percent so it doesn't mean much. His Euro, and other non-south asian components make sense imo. Just the percentages and subcategories seem slightly odd.

True. I think its British colonial admixture for that reason. I remember reading about a Bengalo (not Razib Khan) who said his grandfather was said to be British (but he never saw him) and then it turned out to be true when he took a DNA test.

Oh interesting yeah many bengalis did mix with the british during the rule. Russell peters is a perfect example. Not sure how much mixture he has though.
Also I looked at few punjabi results again on anthrogenica. I think the euro in general gets categorized weirdly for south asians. This kid might not be euro admixed actually but the steppe dna is being recognized as euro.
Here's MonkeyDLuffy's results from anthrogenica. He gets 11% scandanavian and his results are fairly normal for punjabis on gedmatch.

The number of Indians who mixed with the British number no more than 50-100,000. Most Indians are actually pure South Asians, in spite of the numerous invasions in Northern India.
